London: 11 September 2008 My third off-patch trip in four days, this time it was up to Curzon Mayfair for a world premiere. Not too many fans here tonight in the crisp air and just as well, because we were kept across the un-closed road dodging traffic, taxis and limos to get a glimpse. The big draw was Dustin Hoffman who appeared but couldnt be persuaded to risk becoming a hit and run victim to sign for the screaming ones. Plenty of others gave it a go so it was rather like pilot for Celebrity Chicken. The body count was zero fortunately thanks to the vigilant security folk. The size of the premiere meant no arc lights so the footage has that arty feel to it in homage to the venue; Curzon is the spiritual home of Indie film in London.
